I would argue Seattle is more HCOL than LA is. But even so they are about the same, one way or another.
SF, Downtown DC(not VA or MD) and NYC are probably the costliest and LA and Seattle are about the same.
Got it... however, just wanted to know if the comp adjustment is based on State or COL?
Oh man, if they try to give you a negative salary adjustment just DM me immediately and jump ship. I'll even split the referral bonus with you to restore some semblance of sanity to planet earth.
Everyone is different
McK is the same everywhere, like you can earn $200k+ in Cleveland
Think about that, you could have a baller mansion in Cleveland, but you keep your NYC studio, smh

But it’s Cleveland….

Depends on company policy

Generally they won’t lower it assuming you’re staying in the same role (not a “to-be employee that hasn’t started yet). They definitely won’t reduce number of RSUs if they’ve already been granted. However when it comes time for promos and raises, don’t expect too much
Better post in the deloitte bowl. In EY it would stay, but annual increases might be different going forward. In EYP it‘s the same across the whole US. So really depends on company (and potentially even team)
Ahh ok, in my case i am asking for Microsoft actually...
Is Seattle considered MCOL these days?
McK won't
Technically the cost of living is lower as a consequence
