Personally I would be happy and just go home. But I’m assuming that you aren’t. Maybe ask them the next time they are going out and ask if you can join?
I feel like I just watched this in a business guidelines training.
Depends on the event. If it is a department thing, then it should have gone to everyone. But if only a small group is going and it’s not company sponsored, I’m going home.
My return question to you is - are you networking / trying to connect with your co-workers during the day (like lunch, coffee break, etc)?
This time around, I would give folks a pass because of how busy everyone is. If you do find out who organized it, send them an email and ask to be added to a future one.
Unless someone has a running list of folks in the department/org - it is very easy to accidentally overlook someone. Especially if it is an unofficial social hour.

I think what matters here is how you feel. Slighted, invisible, disconnected, left out? It probably was not intentional and just an oversight, but if the result made you feel excluded then raise awareness to your boss. The whole team dynamic is built on having everyone feel connected.
Give them the benefit of the doubt - it’s easy to make a mistake and miss someone, especially if it’s not an official work thing with no email list. If you know who organised it then you can say something like “oh, I heard you all went out last night, let me know next time as I’d love to come along also”. If you keep getting left off then you might want to have a different conversation, or just start organising your own catch-ups with the people you want to spend time with.
Hi!
Depending on the overall context (my position in the company, the topic of the event, people involved etc.) I would probably go for the option of asking my boss if there´s a specific reason I haven’t been invited?
