If you’re a restaurateur in the US seeing this, quit adding extra fees on the check. If I see “healthcare fee”, or “energy fee” or anything like that or, worse, a fee that’s specifically labeled to advance a political agenda, I will never return to your establishment. It’s bad enough that you’re not paying your workers enough, positioning them to be, essentially, official beggars (tipping).

I’m not going to restaurants to be reminded of my surroundings. Quite the opposite.

How to get experience letter in Virtusa after resignation?

I'm the hiring mgr for designers in my org. I recently discovered pay band information given to me by the HR generalist I'm working with on hiring was outdated and updated bands had been released over the summer (prior to my hire date). The outdated information had led me to believe a prime candidate was out of range. Aside from incompetence, can anyone think of a reason why HR might have withheld information about the pay bands? I assume mgrs see the full monty when it comes to pay...right?

I start my journey of being more technical today. I am giving myself 2 yrs. I started a role doing IT controls, Identity and Access Management work. I have prior experience in UAT, business process controls (A-123). I am planning on passing the Security plus and CISSP certs within 2 yrs. Have a TS clearance. He’s worked his way up and has the skills and authority to work 6:30am-10am and gets to work remotely. We discussed that results/outputs is better than billable time like in law and public accounting.
