Hahahaha Lol not only for you …They will do this tactic technique to everyone who put down papers 😂😂😂.. I am an Ex-Infosys employee for me also they said same thing, they will use this technique just to stop you. Don’t believe that ask them to match current offer or leave there and try for better opportunities in india itself
And the funny thing is, this is true not just for Infosys but for every XYZ service company out there. It's just a common lollipop for them to use whenever someone tries to leave.
Did they tell now after 2 months...
When i put down papers, they said. And recently when i asked, they said, they are yet to give confirmation when i asked to give hike along with onsite.
Both these countries are immigrant friendly, should not be an issue, however at the moment there are delays in Canadian Visa so do check timelines
Delay in the sense, how long it would be
They're offering same thing to everyone

Dont believe, first ask them to match offer.
@infosys bro even my manager offered me the very exact same thing, either a hike or onsite but in the end I chose to move on because I was not prepared for the loss if for some reason onsite didn't happen and believe me there can be 1000 reasons for that even after your visa process is started. So take a decision accordingly.
How many months or year they are sending onsite?
To be honest I will tell you , even I have got same onsite offer from my manager beginning of this year when I started to search outside. However I ended up with no onsite with some silly reason saying that no budget sorry. If you are confident on your skills just move on. Don't waste your carrier only for onsite. Outside you will get good offer n good learning stuffs.
Check with next company if they will
give you onsite. Win win more pay and onsite

Based on my experience i feel they might send you given that you dont have other colleagues having more experience than you waiting in pipeline.
My suggestion will be don't go to Mexico.. negotiate for Canada..and ask them to start visa processing mail conversation with respective team and keep you in that mail chain..even simple mail confirmation of giving you onsite is not trust worthy..you have time so start the discussion now only, you will get to understand your manager's motives..
IVS-FS right??? If yes then just say no to your manager.
Oh is it.
Chief
If they start visa process within np it's fine
Did they give any letter till now
I wonder still some people exists who are trapped in such lame offers . They are standard excuses to retain resources and avoid billing loss.
