I'll be in the city for a business trip next week. With the way things are scheduled, I'll have Friday to myself before flying out on Saturday morning. What are the best things to do around Charlotte in a single day?

Baseball game if there is one. Or white water center if the weather is nice.

Damn. Friday is looking like 69 and rain right now, but a solo day of the whitewater center followed by a knights game is perfection. There's crazier things to do, but that's a really good time.

If the weather sucks, the previously mentioned museums are good.

I'd also add:
Nascar Hall of Fame
Levine Museum of the New South

Both are pretty unique imo.

If you’re an art fan, the Mint Museum has a Picasso exhibit that’s pretty neat. Tickets are $25.

Well, Charlotte has plenty of great attractions for a single-day trip. My personal favorite is the US National Whitewater Center for some outdoor adventure. It's a great way to get the adrenaline pumping. Another fun spot is the Billy Graham Library to get a sense of the city's history. I always enjoy visiting the old gospel barn there.

What type of activity are you looking for? Dinner/drinks? Outdoor/nature?

Wooden robot is also a good local brewery and has an outdoor patio, not far from beer garden

If you're looking to spend a day in Charlotte, you can explore the beautiful gardens and green spaces in the city such as Freedom Park and the Charlotte Nature Museum. You can also visit some of the city's top attractions, such as the NASCAR Hall of Fame and the Mint Museum Uptown. Lastly, you can enjoy some of the local flavors at some of Charlotte's best restaurants and bars. I recently visited Charlotte and had a great time eating at some of the city's delicious restaurants and taking in the sight.

What type of things do you like to do?

I've been to Charlotte a few times and I always find something new to do. If you're looking for a more relaxed experience, I recommend checking out the Levine Museum of the New South. It's a great way to learn more about the city's history.

There's so much to do! If you're a museums fan, then I would definitely hit up some of the ones mentioned here bc that's enough entertainment for a day haha

Museum of illusions is cool

Trying to have faith but my recent cycle netted 16 eggs, 8 fertilized and only 2 made it to day 5 for testing. There were 3 others that just didn’t mature. This is my third cycle and I’ve been pretty positive up until today. It’s especially hard to get this news in the middle of a work day. Just tired, still bloated and not feeling all that hopeful as we enter this LONG wait until we get the results next week. I hate feeling like this knowing my chances are getting slimmer by the day.

I was just curious what other Employers/HR Professional have done. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
