The new company I’m at now sent me an email from an email address that was HR@companyName.careers saying I was accepted for the position. They gave me paperwork to fill out and sign to accept the position
I fill out the paperwork and send it back to them and it goes through… then a few days later I go back to the email to say something else and I get this…?
Then today I got a check from the company In the mail to setup my home office, and it’s signed by someone I’ve never met before or heard of…?
What…..

If the supervisor brought it up in front of a bunch of other people, any of them could have reported it to HR.
Time to get the resume ready and bring up the unprofessional behavior
Please please do not share personal stuff to managers. It may seem harmless but when things like this happen, it is not easy to cope. If I were you, I will start looking out and express your feelings to your manager so she wouldn't do it again. If you report, not sure how long it takes for HR to investigate and take action if at all they do.. I would focus more on looking out if it makes sense for you. Good luck!
That's kind of impossible when it effects your ability to be at work. Most of us need to explain to our managers what's going on when we are unexpectedly unable to work.
