My little one is 2 and I’m still 30 pounds heavier then when I first got pregnant and NOW pregnant again, so very nervous about ballooning. I’m essentially starting at where I was at 7 months pregnant. All this to say, your body did/is doing an amazing thing so show yourself a little grace. I will say, Orange Theory kicks butt if you’re consistent. Try that?

If it’s any solace, as I’ve gotten older, I gain weight in different spots. All the sudden my belly fat is gone but my legs are thickening. It might just take more time. Nursing can effect moms weight loss differently, too. Also, I used to eat super late dinners after baby was in bed but now I eat early with my kids and my body has more time to digest food at night which seems to help with avoiding weight gain. Not that I am the pinnacle of fitness but just throwing out some random things…
Nothing to add, just same. I’ve always been average weight and it’s been a year and there’s still more squishiness than I’ve ever had. All for being body positive but not feeling like myself in this new bod. Diet and exercise haven’t moved the needle so I guess this is just my new self.
Could be hormone related!
Same...and I’m breastfeeding. Someone told me once I STOP the lbs will likely fall off. #iamconfusion
I heard that too.. I heard some woman lose weight breastfeeding some gain or it’s hard to lose due to the hormones that remain while you breastfeed. It’s definitely hard while breastfeeding at least for me even mentally to focus on weight loss because I keep thinking I’d somehow mess up my supply :/
Your body changed. What used to work may not. Some folks lose in the gym, some in the kitchen, as they say. And sometimes you just have to relax and let yourself be for a bit. You made a human. No small feat.
