Confirming that it does get sadder as you get older, especially if your friends have gotten married, have just done small house gatherings, or have moved.
I haven't made any NYE plans either. I could have been with friends out of state, but I needed to be here to take of things.
I actually don't mind going out by myself, but I think it would be very strange to buy tickets to go out for NYE by myself, lol. Usually every place has people in groups who have bought tickets. I think after 1 am, it doesn't really matter and there are big parties all over.
Are there any good spots that would likely have singles where it would be as awkward leading up to midnight?
31 M. Wasn't planning on doing anything but if people wana do a fish bowl meet up for NYE I'm down (preferably in River North lol)
I am going to Prysm New Years Day event (called One).
Staying in NYE and partying the next day!
I wish you were my MD. Day One is so fun
Just go to the club
Go to a place to sit at the bar or a dive bar is not a bad idea!
YES. i genuinely like NYE, i think it is a cute holiday, but all my (married) friends here want to spend it at home/in bed by midnight. i would not want to go anywhere alone. definitely gets sadder as you get older, i think next year ill just plan to travel (and then with my luck that’ll be the year everyone suddenly gets a burst of energy)
Trying to choose between TAO and Prysm. Haven't been to either but have been wanting to try TAO!
Anddd pulled the trigger on Tao. Looking forward to it!
