I’m a consultant with 3.5 years of experience at a fintech firm working in a professional services role. Looking to jump ship and pivot into a blockchain focused role/company ASAP however I haven’t got any blockchain experience unfortunately (started a course on coursera to become more familiar with it). Any suggestions on how to become yourself more marketable to a blockchain focused company when you don’t have blockchain experience? Or how to go about applying for such roles?

I’m currently in FP&A and looking to work at a Big 4, or another company that offers the ability to move abroad. Any advice for someone looking to transition into a full HR Generalist role from Recruiting. I’m currently a Campus Recruiter with about 5 years of HR experience (Coordinator- Higher Ed). I received my PHR certification in September 2020 and sitting for my SHRM-CP in two weeks. I’m having a hard time transitioning into a full Generalist position.

I have joined Nagarro almost a year now as a senior architect. However, I see lot of issues here. The company is great so far as employee friendliness is concerned. It may be rated as the top most company in that regard and that is why attrition is well within control. However, there are issues:

1. Project Allocation - allocated to projects without fitment with the role or skills. No internal job portal

2. Lots of seniors in bench for long time

3. No way to give company feedback

I interviewed for KPMG on 11/15 for a Senior role and the HR emailed me on 11/16 that everyone liked me but they think I should be hired as an Experienced Associate. I had a call with the HR on 11/17 wherein we discussed about my salary expectations and the HR said he will get back in a day. It’s been more than 10 days and multiple follow ups but still no response. I don’t think I was rude while talking to the HR, I just told my current salary and asked for min. that no.
