If the culture is bad, there is no way to recover.
Find a different working environment, one that preferably allows for a flexible schedule
If you still don't feel recovered after your long vacation then the job is not for you. Time to look for another job, unfortunately. Good luck.
Hey! That three-week vacation is already enough time to recover. However, if you feel just as awful after taking it, it is probably the work environment per se that's stressing you out.
How is your company culture? The first thing you should do is to identify the main cause of your stressor. Once you do, you'll now be able to find a solution.
Reaching a point of burnout can bring up feelings of failure and a loss of purpose or life direction. You might feel as if you can’t do anything properly or you’ll never achieve your goals. When you reach a point of burnout, you’ve probably pushed yourself past the point of what most people would realistically consider themselves capable of for some time.
Hello! I suggest you talk to a therapist. A therapist can offer professional guidance by helping you identify causes, explore possible coping methods, and navigate any life challenges contributing to burnout.
Make enough time for restful sleep. Spend time with loved ones, but don’t overdo it — alone time is important, too.
Lastly, try to get some physical activity in each day.
You don't. Leave.
A week vacation and still not recovering from the burnout looks for a new environment and a switch. But then, it has just been 2 days since you came from vacation. I understand you may feel like you are not yet done with the fun. Just give it a week or more to adjust.
Hmmm, do you still feel passionate about your job? I think that after three weeks if you really enjoyed your work you would miss it a little but if after two days back you already want to go then it maybe time to consider a transition.
You need a new job!
I go on vacation for at least a month if I am not in a good state. Maybe you are no longer happy with your work? Or maybe your colleagues are toxic?
Don't you think it's time to find a new job? I don't think what you are experiencing is ordinary burnout.
