Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

Going in-house full-time ✌🏻
I have a question, fellow bowlaz! I work in a small advertising agency in Oslo, Norway, and we struggle to get in contact with international ad media such as Adweek (Ad Freak) and Ad Age whenever we want to show off our creative work. Does anyone of you have a way in, or tips on how we can get in contact with media outlets like these? Cheers

Same boat! I made to pivot to in-house/tech designer from AD and it def ebbs and flows depending on a lot of factors like time of year if there’s a lot of campaigns/activations/partnership and your day-to-day “clients” of co-workers requesting/briefing work - I had some good and bad. In general I really like the pivot, I have a lot more control and always hated the agency side filter of so many people going thru feedback/brief before it gets to me. To be fair I’m not getting the same level of work I would want to put in my portfolio but I’m noticing I’m getting more notice than I ever did because I have tech/brand side experience than I did when I was agency and that helps me get in the door to sell myself.

In- house depends on who runs the creative dept. I loved it, but there's no way of knowing how it will turn out.
