Really depends, but I’ve found the Capital One Venture X is just a really great value (priority pass, global entry, precheck, presidents circle) easiest to use and great transfers (can provide a referral link for extra miles). However, if you know what you’re doing with points and want to min max, then the CSR is the best option.
Also, Capital One has priority pass so you have lounge access at every major airport in the world. Capital one only has a few lounges, but priority pass gives you access to hundreds
Are you brand loyal or do you shop flights/hotels by price? If brand loyal or you want to take advantage of the United hub, I'd get a cobranded United card or your favorite hotel brands card. Otherwise, if you are brand agnostic and want to rack up points to use on travel then find the one that has the best multipliers based on your largest spend category (e.g. Amex gold 4x on restaurants)
United miles back is cruddy though, also you won’t get the lounge access. Saying this as a current card holder since I also live at a United Hub
