I’m a new financial advisor and joined my first firm that is with Securian. We get paid a commission and fee(if we charge). I do not charge a fee. I am trying to understand more of the different firms and why/how they charge. What is better? I was approach with a potential opportunity at Raymond James but they are fee only. I currently earn approx 12 L per annum ( fixed + bonus) in India. Do you think it's a good offer. Also my expectations were 6k SGD or more per month. But the HR said I would never be able to find that in the market.
