I’m a PL at BCG and got a FAANG PM offer in HCOL city with similar comp as I’m getting now. Currently living in LCOL city. I like the team but don’t want to move. Anyone have success negotiating remote work (and keeping same comp)?

What would be a reasonable salary for a 3rd year lawyer in house at a real estate development company with a total of 3 lawyers (they are co-gcs for different parts of the company)? I’d be the 4th lawyer in the department as a whole. HCOL area.

For anyone who receives a quarterly bonus or raise in some form, does your employer start to schedule you for less hours when your raise kicks in, or pull you from a future schedule entirely once you receive a bonus; only to put you back on once the hours you would have worked and earned the amount given are passed? Ie; a part time employee getting $200.00 in a quarterly bonus and then not being scheduled a whole week during a bi-weekly pay period where they would have earned more on the clock…?

Got a call from the resource management team to relocate, which I rejected upfront as I was promised a role in the location I am posted. It has been over 2 weeks since I am in bench. I had a behavioral interview with a manager from another team and a case study with the hiring manager. They both took notes as I gave my answers but the first manager was very disinterested from the get go and was distracted as he kept looking away from the screen.

I’m wondering how much influence the first manager has since I’m not sure what he’s writing
