Currently have a return offer in NYC for a deals advisory group for next summer at a B4, but noticed they have their corporate finance intern apps open (MM M&A IB)- I’m more interested in the latter anyways, how should I go about telling my recruiter about possibly switching (I don’t want to seem ungrateful or step on anyones toes at this point) PwC Deloitte EY
I’m a manager in PwC’s human capital practice. I’m getting recruiting messages from the other Big 4, as I imagine most of us are. I’m interested in hearing about human capital consultants who went from PwC to one of the other firms, as well as people who came from one of the other firms to PwC. Happily ever afters as welcome as horror stories here. Thanks!
Advice from PwC fish needed.. I posted a week ago about an offer for an A1 “experienced associate” from PwC -team is digital assurance transparency. Even tho I thought that sounded off, I ended up accepting. My letter just said Associate @ 68k base. Now I have access to People Path & my job level says A2. So is PwC on a cohort model, or not? Is there anything I can do here? I pushed back hard on the A1 vs A2 thing b4 signing and the recruiter was adamant I would be an A1

How realistic is the jump from Big 4 FDD to IB. Can you expect to jump to a MM/BB or would you be stuck with boutiques?
I am a Sr. Product Manager (Sr. Mgr level) at a large (Big 4) consulting firm. My total comp is $208k. How does this summary & comp align to others?

Can anyone help me with a role at a big 4 consulting company . I am heading into my second year of my MBA expecting to graduate May2023 with a 4.0 GPA.
I like my job but feel that my loyalty hasn’t paid in $$. It sounds like making a move might make sense right now. I current sit in ITS, ASC 740 and C Corp specialty groups at my firm. Any thoughts for where a move might make sense for maximizing my skill set? I’ve applied at some fortune 50 companies and gotten offers, but none of them seemed appealing (I’d be stuck picking a specialty). That’s the feeling I get at B4 too. Thoughts appreciated.

My bf has an offer from B4 & is expecting to complete the final interview with FAANG (his dream co) soon. Would it be unethical to accept the B4 offer now and quit after a month or 2 if he getsFAANG?

Looking to make a switch and was curious what people think about Vynamic. Specifically:
1.) How is the WLB?
2.) Is pay comparable to B4?
Currently an A2 and offered a 50% raise to join RSM as S1. Am slightly concerned on the adjustment from big 4 to mid tier, but everyone I’ve met at RSM has been great and welcoming. Likely will be staffed on industries I enjoy. Any other factors to consider in why to not accept the offer? Don’t want to make a mistake just because of the pay increase.

I've heard of plenty of people exiting to tech at $300-400k but that is probably a little inflated since tech stock has been taking a beating. And I also know lots who have exited at the $250-300k range. What should I be shooting for?

Was told before the last round I just completed that it would be the last round (basically involved a case presentation to sr leaders within the group). Heard back from HR that they’d like to schedule me for one additional round with an even more Senior Director from the team. Fish fam - any experience having additional rounds added or what I should expect from this latest final round?

Do companies ask for transcripts as part of the background check process or just diploma? My alma mater changed a grading policy and my GPA on the transcript I just pulled is lower than the GPA I graduated with. No, I am not kidding, I’m calling tomorrow to tell them that’s bogus, but curious if I’ll even need a transcript when switching jobs after having already graduated.
PwC gave me a verbal offer about a week ago & mentioned that they are going through some approval process before an written offer letter can be provided. Still waiting for it & a waiting period this long sucks 😔
