I’m a US IMG exploring opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry. I worked as a GP abroad, completed an MPH in the US, and am currently a Program and Operations Analyst at a hospital. I’m interested in entry-level roles but have a few questions:

Does having an ECFMG certification help with pharma job applications, even if I haven’t completed a residency?
Any certifications or education you’d recommend for entry-level pharma roles?
Based on my background, what pharma roles should I pursue?

What’s a good experience gift for a 3 year old? She has gotten subscription boxes and tickets to museums in the past so anything that’s not that.

What are the typical working hours for back office staffs? 9-5 pm or 8-5?

What vendor do you use for cold direct mail lists?

Joining Deloitte in 2weeks. What Deloitte send laptop, do they send extra monitor, keyboard and mouse? Or does it need to be purchased using $1000 productivity subsidy? And do we need to use Amex card to purchase and then reimburse?

I've got 4 years at a staffing agency after getting Masters in HRM and making a complete career change in 2018. Doing full cycle recruiting and account management. I feel I'm doing very well (in the role and with comp $57 base + commission = ~$91k last year) BUT I feel stuck!! I'm feeling undervalued and unchallenged. I think I'd love corporate recruiting/TA Specialist, etc. How do I make the jump? Should I just keep truckin??

As an experienced, SHRM certified HRBP , I would just like some feedback on your opinion of the differences in the roles between an HRBP an HR Manager besides the obvious that the manager should have direct reports. I am an HRBP and work in step with 3 HRM’s. They all 3 just got out of cycle raises of between 5-20% 😳 and I received nothing. I am quite aware of our HR code that salary is confidential but I was told about this. Would you be looking for other employment? Or stay?

hi guys! i wanted to ask for advice if anyone can help. currently i’m a scientist at a CRO and i’m doing work that is at least a title or two above mine. feels like im overworked and underpaid. i keep getting rejected to positions i feel like i can fill due to my years of experience. i technically only have been working since may 2020. but i have learned so much so quickly, im already doing method development/discovery work. should i settle for a job title below my current in pharma?
