I'm an Art Director with about a year of agency experience plus 3–4 years of freelance work under my belt, and I'm looking for advice on breaking further into the fashion and beauty space. My portfolio has 3 campaigns. I know it's still lean on the brand side. My freelance background has given me a solid creative foundation, but I'm trying to figure out how to best get other agencies/brands attention and move to a path more aligned with where I want to be creatively. Hey, so I was offered a CDP position as an analyst in Accenture starting this fall, but today I just found out I got the Fulbright scholarship to be an ETA in Thailand for a year. It’s an honor of course, and I’m thinking about asking my recruiter if I could delay my Accenture start date for a year. Would it be worth it to do so? Is it even possible?

I have an idea that I think could change the shape and makeup of the industry, and reduce discrimination in the hiring process.
