It's normal to do senior work at experienced associate pay for a bit. Don't worry, you have a long and fulfilling career ahead. As long as you can pay for food and shelter, I recommend waiting for your green card. There is plenty of time to switch after and I wouldn't take a risk with that situation
^Agreed with this, we have long careers and 1-2 years is not a long time. You will get your senior promotion in time
Did you join after promotions or were you passed for promotion?
I changed firms and starting all over sucks and it is not worth it unless you are truly unhappy like I was (Was at a regional firm before coming to Deloitte)
Stay until you get the GC. Switching right before BS at a new firm is not fun at all anyway. I would definitely switch to an S1 position at another firm come spring or when you have the GC. 30% more pay for a few months isn’t worth it. Also, if you like your team, that’s huge.
