Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group is too slow. For anything you wanna do inside the organization, 12 months of tenure is required. Even for promotions its the same no matter hoew exceptionally you perform.
Whereas Bain & Company has no such minimum tenure requirement. My colleague got promoted in 4th months of joining right out of college.

Anyone with recent experience recruiting for Boston Consulting Group? Got in touch with a recruiter through referral, was directed to submit an application and already finished my pymetrics. Anyone know when I would be able to hear back and what the hiring timeline looks like? Recruiter suggested to get back in a few weeks but isn’t it too slow? McKinsey sent me an invite for 1st interview in a few days after they received my referral.

If it makes you feel any better, it’s 0 at my company as well 😂
Do you not have any sort of work space already? I also think for any firms or companies that did offer this, it was early on when WFH was seen as a shorter term thing. Doubt it would be a new offering for new hires.
Understandable - was in your shoes coming out of grad school. Even though at that point I was traveling still had to furnish a WFH space. Also - my firm, like many, offered nothing aside from if you wanted to borrow a monitor from the office. Upside since I am mostly local is I save a ton on commuting costs so I guess that’s a win?
I’ll bet they give you a computer.

Guys OP is a Senior Associate, their budget is much higher
A desk, chair etc. is what i was hoping for. Considering a lot of firms are offering that due to covid.
