Almost everyone moving from the US to London takes a pay cut. I moved here from SF a few years ago, and pay cut was worth it. 25 PTO days, being able to travel to a different country so easily, and the city is amazing. You know your finances best but if you don’t have debt, dependents, mortgages, etc i used to make that much last year and have a 1bd in Zone 1 and it hasn’t been an issue. Feel free to DM me if you want to chat about it more
Thank you so much I will likely take you up on that!

Bear in mind that the £95k total comp will look more like £50k after taxes and national insurance levy. London is not cheap, decent places will run you £2500+ for a one bed. Totally doable if you don’t have dependents as grocery culture and travel is much cheaper than in the US VHCOL cities. Tricky if you need to pay for daycare etc.
Thank you! I am single, no dependents, so I feel like it shouldn't be too bad when it comes to regular expenses. The decrease in travel costs is honestly the most appealing part. It cost me about $900 to fly to a friend's wedding in the states when it used to cost me less than that to fly to Europe..
I absolutely love London and cant wait for a return visit. I hope you take the offer! I wish I had that option!
