I’m currently working in healthcare, transitioned out of patient care into leadership position which includes a lot of data management and analysis. Thinking of jumping ship and moving into a more direct data analysis role. Looking for insite into starting salaries if I were to go back to school to get a BA in IT or Data Science.

I want to make sure if I’m inventing the time, money and energy in going back to school im making the right choice into a lucrative field.

I’m currently working on employee data set and business wants to figure out the employee shift type based on number of working hour and days worked and categorize into 8*5 (8 hours 5 days) or (10 hours 4 days) a week. But the real challenge is employee hours are varying because of their overtime work and other reasons so it ranges from 0-20 and also employee can start his shift any day in a week.

So any ideas or suggestions on solving this to find shif type accurately?
