Had 4 rounds of great interviews for a internal HC consulting sr mgr role at tech Org. Final/5th round was a presentation and I felt it didn’t go well because I followed instructions and created a solid strategy that was based on evidence and best practices from what other orgs are doing - exactly what the case asked but based on their questions it seemed they wanted some high in the sky creative ideas. I want to understand few things
1. How difficult is it to move to a PM role with no workex?

I accepted a new offer and put in my notice this week and my company provided a counteroffer. The offer is lower than my new offer but I know it’s the best they can do. Financially I do need the money but I’m also tempted to stay because my current team is so great. I have 2 questions 1) when does it make sense to prioritize workplace happiness/ balance over financial well-being? 2) if I go back on my offer acceptance should I consider that bridge burned?
