I'm developing an app that's core features are to help improve day to day live for individuals that struggle with day-to-day tasks I have taken research from my own life experiences as a person that has ADHD so most features might feel personal others that also live with ADHD . It's in development stage right now and will be part of a larger ai ecosystem that touches on a wide range of topics....

As somebody with ADHD, that’s really exciting to hear. We need a lot more resources and tools than what’s available. I would definitely love to check this app out when and if it becomes available.

Well is there any way to get into contact with you other than on a screen that just says systems engineer because to be honest with you would you be an assistance engineer you'll probably be intrigued by the whole concept that I've actually got going on and trying to bring to the forefront

This is so cool! The fact that you’re building from personal experience makes it feel extra real. A lot of apps miss the emotional piece of ADHD struggles, like the overwhelm or shame that can come with small tasks. If you’re keeping that in mind, I bet people are going to feel really seen. Have you been testing features with others in the community yet? That could bring in even more helpful feedback.

Thank you and I plan to . That's actually why I started to post about in hopes that it finds its way to someone that can point me in the right direction of someone that can help me get the funding I need to turn it into a physical product

I've tried a slew of apps purporting to be helpful to ADHDers. As a Product Manager with ADHD, I can give you a rundown of the apps in your competitive space, of you're interested. Just DM me.

I have no experience with funding but I’d be happy to help out with some testing 🙂

This is definitely something i would be interested in checking out. I struggle so bad with ADHD. I take medication but even on medication things can still be a struggle.

That's so exciting!
Sending you the best of the lucks on your mission!

Question! I just moved(transferred) to another team of my company and received new title, graphic & creative services. I was a senior graphic designer at the previous team. What do you think about my new title? I know that title is not a big thing but why I feel like my title is downgraded here… Good thing is my jobs here at my current team are what I really wanted to do. This is amazing. I love my new team and people here! Super healthy working environment! But just curious about the title.

Hi! I’m a young professional with less than 2 years experience, started a new job 1.5 months ago. I’m having quite some difficulties on balancing out my response time to tasks. While I act incredibly fast if not immediately with some, I sometimes take 1-2 weeks with couple of hours worthy ones. Sometimes I ignore, procrastinate or simply other more urgent things come up to increase the delay. Also I work with 3 managers in my team which doesn’t help with expectations nor guidance. Any tips pls?

I was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 12. My family did not opt to put me on medication. I illegally discovered Adderall in college. Worked incredible. Got diagnosed after college & after having been fired from my first job. Passed the CPA exams on Adderall. Went off of it again. I do everything well at my job except for attention to detail within my excel files & emails. Will taking ADHD medication really fix this? Does anyone else have this issue and was it resolved by taking medication?

How do you get out of the burnout cycle? I’ve felt overwhelmed for a while and now I’m in the “can’t function at all” stage. I just started meds yesterday and the change in my focus and attention to detail is mind blowing. My only concern is, just yesterday I had a tough feedback session with my manager around how I’m taking too long to complete my work, giving them anxiety around close deadlines. I’m new in the job (3 months in). Should I explain anything about my adhd to my manager or just wait for them to notice the change in me?

So today was my first day on a stimulant (diagnosed as an adult), and everyone says its suppose to feel like *boom* magic, or normal (?) , I guess. Knowing that is figurative, what should I actually be expecting? I feel mostly the same, I think, though I came in and actually did started my work today. But I mean, somedays I do that...I just don't want to psyche myself out if I'm expecting too much. Or pscyhe myself in if I actually might not be experiencing what I should.

Can anyone relate? If I’m stressed out, I can’t focus on my tasks because my productivity is driven by creative and explorative thought. When I’m stressed or anxious, my mind doesn’t have the room or space to think freely to get things done, and I end up bouncing around different tasks not getting anything done. And then there’s the whole dopamine addiction issue with doing a small amount of work then hopping on social media because you feel like you need the reward. Just me?
