If your long term goal is a luxury establishment, then get your foot in the door at a luxury hotel now. It’s better that you start getting experience. Does the luxury hotel is pay better?
The pay is slightly less but comparable. It would be an hourly position vs a salaried position
I would go the luxury route because it seems like the most promising career trajectory for what you want to do. Transferable skills, and all of that.
Rising Star
I’d go with the luxury hotel. It likely offers the most security, may be more lucrative to get into (so once you do, you better hold on to it-these jobs are competitive) and will hopefully pay better since expectations will be higher
