Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

I would highly suggest networking and trying to get a referral. This is one of the worst job markets I have ever seen. Sometimes a referral can help you get your foot in the door somewhere. Best of luck to you.
I'm really sorry you're dealing with this. I'm in a similar situation. I ended up having to downsize pretty significantly and now I have three roommates just to get by. We all help each other because we're all in a similar boat right now. This tech downturn is the stuff of nightmares.
Networking is your best bet. Maybe get some cloud and/or AI certs, but probably you’re trapped not being able to pay for training or exams.
I really have no idea what ai would do in your situation. I bought a bunch of tools and I’m going to start working on my cars to get another skill going.
I am woman with 10 years experience in IT before the layoff . I Agree with going the referral route. My company moved all IT to India. We were given 2 years notice it took me 6 months to land a new role. I immediately reached out to my old Accountant colleagues and my IT colleagues that were working at new companies. I quickly got back into a Data Engineering role into a company that prefers referrals. Not sure if it was just luck as I know alot of my old IT colleagues are still out of work as many of them just waiting until they got there packages but i saw the writing on the wall and acted immediately. All cold calling applying just left me interviewing the being ghosted.

Look outside of the tech industry. There are tech roles in other industries and it’s generally less competitive.
Don’t be on the streets. Is uber/lyft not an option for you?
