Guess it is good to take the good with the bad once in a while! Relationships are a big bonus for me too. Once you get familiar with a client not only does it make your job easier, but helps them be more successful. You get to see what you are doing and how it is leading them to better things too.
It does make the job easier - and a lot more fun!
I've generally enjoyed the relationship building and how it relates to problem solving. I never really thought of myself as a particularly diplomatic person until I got into this work and found myself growing into the role. Getting to where I can understand things and find a solution is a challenge, but it's gratifying. And even if things can be frustrating at times, it never gets boring, it's not like you're doing the same thing over and over.
I can tell how much you love it just from your words!
It's always about the clients for me. 95% of mine over 30 years (I'm old) have been wonderful, interesting people. It's fun to problem solve with them.
As someone who’s still in their first decade of work, this is so refreshing to hear. Thank you!
