Recently moved to Denver, and may be sticking around for good. Planning on buying in the next year or so, and some of the suburbs off 25 and south of 470 have caught my wive’s eye. Thoughts on Douglas county (or specifically castle pines, Parker)?
We’re a mid-30s couple, with a 4 y/o, so for priorities: schools, (hopeful) resale value, and activities for our daughter and family as a whole. Any advice or alternatives would be appreciated!!

I’m moving to Denver with my husband and cat from Dallas. We are 39 and 40. No kids, we will both be working from home. The idea is to rent for a year and see if we like it. I’m interested in the nature opportunities and I’m in ok shape. Otherwise we are homebodies but committed to making the most of our time there within reason. 15 YOE, recently started my first tech PR job at a large, stable company & have been asked to get ~20 SMEs in front of media. Subject matter is not sexy. I lead PR for all of U.S. & have no other PR colleagues. My agency’s budget is 100k/year & they’re spread too thin to hit their KPIs.
