Implications of the PwC sale? Are those fuckers coming for Uncle Peat’s Fed Audit stranglehold?

I was wondering the same thing. Were they waiting for us to expand our Fed assurance practice before jumping in?

Competition is good. Only so many Fed people now.

I wonder what it means for their FIAR clients. Just because they sold them off, does that mean that PwC proper can really compete for the audit? Seems like an independence issue still.

I'm pretty sure that they'll go by another name. They won't have the resources of big PwC, though, when it comes to bidding on the enormous audit jobs.

In my opinion... PwC is not going to get involved with anything federal for at least next couple years. PwC Public Sector is going to change their name in couple months and is going to struggle. Especially once Air Force FIAR recompete award is announced. I can't see PwC Public Sector winning that anymore...

I agree PwC 1. I don't see Air Force sticking with NewCo.

Since EY is auditing the Air Force, Air Force FIAR award is going to either KPMG or Deloitte. That would be a big win for either one...

I am trying to negotiate an internal base increase. Context is that I am at a FinTech following a key strategic and successful M&A in which I was the sole program manager. For reference I have 3 years of experience and have been offered a 10% base increase as a part of my promotion (current salary is 120k). I feel this is quite low given the market but would really appreciate any input
