I’m interviewing for a high-ticket sales role that uses Salesforce, but I’ve only used HubSpot. I know the logic is the same, but how do I explain that to a recruiter without looking like I’m behind the curve?

You should start learning SF. There are tons of resources via Trailhead. Even if you haven't used it professionally, being able to speak the language and demonstrate you have a good understanding of the ins and outs might assuage their concerns about your perceived lack of familiarity with the platform.

I would explain that CRM skills are transferable and give concrete examples. Pipelines, forecasting, deal stages, reporting logic. Recruiters care more about how you think than the exact tool, especially between HubSpot and Salesforce.

I am trying to figure out how to switch to SWE. I have a masters in civil engineering and have a good background in higher level math. It looks like the better coding boot camps are quite expensive. The alternative is another masters in CS which is the same cost as many boot camps. Any recommendations on picking between a coding boot camp and getting another masters degree in CS? I’m looking to get into the best position possible after getting an education in CS (get a job quick and good pay).

What is the salary for Software Engineer position at Optum?

Would you guys consider leaving for a role that offers a much higher base salary but no opportunities to advance? Got an offer that’s an 85% raise adjusted for cost of living. The work seems interesting and I like the company but it’s a smaller office so I basically couldn’t get promoted unless my boss retires or quits.

I went through two rounds of interviews for
a job that the posting stated $36.66 per
hour (FP&A Analyst)…the company
recruiter had told me in the initial call the
pay could be 32-36 because of the other
benefits. If I do get a job offer what range
should I try for? I was really hoping to get
around the 36-40 but now I feel like they
may try to offer lower than what was
posted. Also there was no range but the
average for this position is upper 70s-90k.
Thanks for any help!

Recruiter said feedback have been positive and I have one last meeting with the head of engineering remaining for overall fit interview tomorrow. I’m preparing just in case there’s an offer at the end of the week. Currently making 180k base if you need more context. Have a semi technical background as well

30th birthday present watch accessory ideas.

A lot of knowledge on here so asking for some help. It’s my partner’s birthday and I’ve no idea what to buy him. He’s a watch fanatic - Pateks (sports and dress), Audemars (sports and dress), Rolex (sports), Omega (sports).

I’m obviously not buying him a watch for his birthday (in his dreams!) but any idea for some good accessories? He’s already got a PP watch winder, and has bought multiple nice straps for the dress watches. I’m completely lost.
