I'm interviewing for new opportunities and trying to navigate salary expectations with my search for a good role fit. I'm getting close to the offer stage with a few companies and am struggling between shocking the hiring manager for a position I'm very interested in therefore jeopardizing my chances of an offer and asking for a salary I feel i am worthy of.

How has P&T been affected by recessions in the past ? Are internal app teams more safe ? Also how is the severance package calculated.

I have had salary discussion with IBM on 9th Feb, awaiting offer letter. Erverytime I call HR, she says you'll get offer letter within 2 days. No luck yet. Does anyone have idea within how many days IBM releases offer letter.

I’m a 9th year in a mostly litigation-based practice group at a one-tier partnership firm. My group’s billable hours have been low the last few years, so making partner will be nearly impossible, and a counsel position is not viable long-term in my group. What’s the best option here if partnership is the ultimate goal? Try to get a NEP/counsel position at another firm, which is likely difficult in my market, or offer to take a class cut by a few years?

I’m four months into my job and I got put onto a PIP. I worked so hard to break into IB, put up all the hours and even working 2am nights for weeks, learned a ton, and improved a lot along the way as the sole analyst yet this happens. I’m extra worried because it doesn’t seem there’s IB analyst positions out there. Im really hoping come January more positions come up but I’m just praying they don’t fire me until then. I took an offer for campus hire at KPMG in Tech Strategy(Canada) this summer however I haven't been able to get my salary before signing due to complications. My estimate is 62k salary.

Now applied to Deloitte Digital and got an offer for 65k CAD + 2k signing bonus doing Salesforce.

Would I be stupid not to take the Deloitte offer on the table despite already signing with KPMG?

Bengaluru company job profile seems more better and Pune company job profile seems less better.
