This was a handful of years ago, but I had the toughest time getting a new job after I had been laid off. I went on so many interviews and sent out so many resumes and kept getting rejected. It took forever, but then I landed my current position and it is the best position that I’ve ever had. You have to keep putting yourself out there and the more you interview, the better you will be. Also, again, many, many years ago, but I hired a professional to write my resume and I think it was a good investment. I also have used recruiters in the past, so that might be a good option if you haven’t gone that route. How does your LinkedIn profile look? Do you have the setting where it says you are available for work? You could also try freelancing. I know it is hard right now, but I promise it will work out! Hang in there!
