I’m joining Deloitte India tomorrow, and my base location in the offer letter is mentioned as Hyderabad.Since Hyderabad is around 12 hours away from my hometown, I was planning to take my laptop after onboarding and work from home.
Could someone clarify:
Is WFH allowed during the bench period until we’re mapped to a project?
Can my base location be changed from Hyderabad to Bangalore?
If reporting is mandatory, can I report to the Bangalore office instead?

Is it misleading to just look at Total Compensation from a $ dollar value/ Total Compensation seems to be much more subjective than base salary in terms of its value. Some factors might be:

RSUs granted on dollar value or by # of shares & stock price trends
Vesting schedule
strike price on ISOs & delta between strike price and real market value

For instance, most of value in Amazon's comp seems to be granted in years 3 & 4, but it's well known that most people last only 2 years max there.
