I’m looking at MBA programs and would prefer to get one with a concentration in finance. A lot of the schools in my area only offer the programs with concentrations in a traditional classes during the week, during the day format. Have those of you that completed an MBA while working did you completely step away from working or were you able to communicate it with you company and work around it? My second option is just to do a general MBA offered at night/weekends.

I picked my program based on what worked around family and work needs. That being said, what I've found so far is that with MBA's, WHERE you go seems to matter more than WHAT you study.

Hi all! I need some candid advice from y'all. How do I get my manager to see my value and see that I'm actually doing a lot of work? For some reason all the other departments & teams I work with always say how grateful they are that I've joined the company because I've really been cleaning things up & making their lives way easier. But for some reason in my manager's eyes all I do is "meets expectations". I already am doing senior level work as the only senior on our team left a month in... (1)
