After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

Just made the transition myself, so I’m probably not a great source for you. But I’ve been focusing on deal strategy and knocking down any roadblocks that my reps face, being truly helpful, and they seem to be responding well.
What a horrible manager “my reps” give me a break.
I highly suggest that you personally obtain a Predictive Index (PI) assessment so you know your strengths and weaknesses as a sales manager. I know lots of AEs who didn’t know themselves well enough to determine their fit in that already prescribed role in 50+ employee orgs; they failed only to learn “why” when their PI did not align with the sales strategy (ie Sandler vs Challenger method). Notably, if the org you work for has less than 50 employees, you can get your PI and align that to a sales strategy you rollout that also works to your PI strengths. Here is an option: http://www.performancepi.com/
Great advice, I will look into this!
Focus on process, methodologies, messaging, and read books on sales coaching/mentoring. Talk to them personally during 1:1s weekly and then scheduled a pipeline call separately so you can mentor in one, and forecast/project plan in the other. Works best for my approach.
Sounds like a great cadence, thanks for sharing!
They’ll never care about what you know until they know you care.
Spend first week purely to learn about who they are and why they go to work. Makes it much easier to then learn how they work and when.
Read “The Accidental Sales Manager” by Chris Lytle.
Thanks for the advice, will focus on that during my first week and read the book you suggested!
