I'm moving from industry to consulting and accepted an offer with a pretty big firm (not Big 4 or MBB). I already put in two weeks notice with my current company.

I just had a final round interview with a Big 4 firm and I received an email today that suggests I will be receiving an offer from them.

If the Big 4 firm presents a comp package that matches or exceeds the offer I accepted, I will most likely accept their offer.

How do I go about navigating reneging the first offer I accepted?

I am serving notice period and in october month salary I haven’t received night shift allowance while other members of team have received it. Can anyone please confirm if there is such rule that within notice period Night shift allowance goes on hold and will be paid in FnF. Or should I raise this concern with my manager.
