Bain & Company Hello Fishes.
What is the average CTC offered for a Research Associate with 1 year of experience in Healthcare consulting?
I'm looking forward for opportunities, hence would be great to know the current CTC trends to effectively negotiate with the employer.
Thanks in advance!

any employer not paying our maternity leave deserves absolutely nothing. BYE.
I know. It’s amazing how I know this but it’s still hard to put into practice, especially when that’s not on my team, but the org. I knew it going in obviously and was happy to have a long term gig the past six months of my pregnancy with a good team. I wish I just had an agent to do this for me.
I genuinely like them all so I don’t want to screw them, but then at the same time I have to remind myself I wasn’t even paid a maternity leave so I really don’t owe them anything. The job I have been interviewing with has asked about timing and I could tell them I need to know soonish to give my old job notice, but at the same time I don’t think I’m ready to go back for another month. Just. Weird spot to navigate. The permalance job is 100 percent remote and has been pretty good to have, but since it’s in another city I’m feeling like a local, full time offer is probably a good next step. I think I need to just get over worrying about what my old job thinks, and give them my proposed to work date and if I wind up jumping before then oh well. Just want to be a decent person.
Thank you. Best of luck to you!
To be frank, you owe them nothing. They’ve not given you any sort of paid leave?!? They’ll replace you in a month and not think twice about it. I know we as women put kindness and respect on a pedestal but if you haven’t been given that as a NEW MOM, take the new gig and don’t look back.
100% you owe them nothing. If it feels better, tell them you need a job with healthcare benefits. Totally reasonable
