What's the salary range for a director at the Gilead Sciences foundation? There is a position perfect for me, but I don't want to throw my hat in the ring if starting salary isn't $180-190k. Also, any thoughts on the stability of their philanthropic commitment? There's talk of a recession; I don't want to go private to be cute a few months later.

New role would increase responsibility but unlikely be an extra pay bump as I’m likely getting a promotion anyway next month
I would start first by examining why you dont want to be in SC forever. Gives you an idea of were you may want to go
Haha totally know what you mean. When I worked in S&OP, I was a global business planner and we worked closely with the strategic finance teams. We would create the new product forecasts which rolled up into the innovation portfolio and they would leverage that to create the LRPs and growth potential. S&OP would also overlap a bit with their teams in creating the financial plans and tying it back to supply chain. It would certainly be a pivot but you have the skills and would have an interesting perspective on creating the plans
So the role is currently a director level and they want you to do the same job as an associate director? Basically have the same responsibilities but with a lesser title and less pay? That seems like a pass to me. Logistics roles are usually a lot of fire fighting too, so probably more stressful and more
hours
Agree with SM1, depending on the role there could be some good experience if you want to round out your background. If the role is more day-to-day ops management then I would stay away, unless you’re specifically looking to get that type of P&L experience
