At the moment I'm a procurement consultant in London, but want to make a move towards supply chain consulting. My preference would go out to a supply chain consulting role which is more analytically challenging. Do you have any advice on how to make the transition (e.g. firms which would help me transition or courses to upskill myself before applying)?

I had a very positive experience interviewing with Amazon for an L5 Technical Writer role. I originally applied for a lower level writing role, ending up acing my Loop, and was passed on to speak to the hiring manager for the L5 role.

Given the positive tone of our conversation, I expect to receive an offer this week.

Can somebody tell me what kind of base salary/bonus/RSU ranges I should aim for? I'm transitioning to tech and have 10+ years of professional writing experience. PNW based.

*Ohio* I stepped into a role as Software Engineer (.Net) with no experience at $70k. Six months ago I had brought up the fact I was being underpaid for the job I was doing with now 3 years of experience being the only Engineer on the team and my manager agreed giving me an increase to $90k. My manager is wanting to get me some help and posted a new role modeled after me (3 yrs exp) w/ salary between $88k-$126k. How should I approach my manager about it without looking incredibly greedy?

Any advice on a first year trying to transition from family law to in-house? I always thought family law was my path, and used to enjoy it, but it’s not the direction I want to head in anymore. I don’t think I even want to continue with any litigation work. I’m having a hard time finding firms that are hiring entry level associate positions that don’t require at least 3+ years experience in-house.
