This might be a long shot but I'm looking for a volunteer who is trying to break into a federal career. Maybe a transitioning veteran, recent grad, or career-changer.

I'm pursuing my master career coaching cert and need to do a recorded 45-minute session. You don't have to be identified if you don't want to.

The single session is all I'm asking but could certainly turn into a longer lasting coaching relationship (at no cost), if you like.

Thanks everyone! Feel free to send me a message, if you haven't already. Honestly, I'm going to try to help everyone that I can. I'm passionate about federal talent management and the more talent we can collectively land in public service, the better we'll be as a nation for it (Cheesy, I know, but still true).

I am a career-changer and I would be interested in your coaching sessions. Hoped, I can provide valuable feedback to you as a client as well as receive your services.

I would be interested in chatting with you about this. I recently switched from the energy industry to a federal contractor role and am debating on extending my career with the government or going back to the industry.

Certainly, anyone who's interested can PM me. I've had quite a few PMs, but only a couple ppl who forwarded their resumes, and just one who set up a meeting.

A little background, I'm a doctor of education, federal strategic talent manager, and career coach, focused on transition to the federal sector.

I'm seeking a master career coach credential, which is the reason I need a recorded, pro bono coaching session. I'm volunteering to 1. provide feedback on your resume (general and specific to federal employment) and 2. provide some fundamental guidance, based on your individual goals, over a 45-minute session.

Also happy to answer any questions about federal employment, the hiring process, or USAJobs.

I say again, anyone who is interested is welcome to just pm me.

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's Master's in Management. They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

Hello fellow SAP Consultants!
I am SAP HCM consultant having 4.10 years of experience. I feel that this module doesn’t have any growth. My first switch took me to 9LPA from 6LPA and now the second switch is being offered for 11.5LPA where I can see my fellow friends in SAP having more than 15LPA at the same experience on their second switch itself. Should I be worried about my skillset? Any insights would highly be appreciated. I feel stuck.

I got selected in LTI, the offered CTC is less than my current CTC, HR says they have budget constraints.

They were aware about my current CTC right from the first call.

I also shared the counter offer that I'm holding. (Offered CTC > Current CTC)
Switch won't make sense if I don't get the basic hike.

How can I convince them to revise my offer? YOE -3.2 yrs

HR came back with a 106k offer stating nobody on the team makes that much so they cant offer it. Also said she is unsure if there is any wiggle room if any at all. I’ve looked at everyone on the team with the same titles salary on the sunshine list and the lowest I see is 121k. I assume there is an OT component of some sort but also can’t confirm.
