I’m interviewing next week for a solutions engineer at a company I really like, which I mistakenly applied for as I saw they needed ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML/CSS. Hi, do you know of any opening as a production manager making at least 120K? The environment where I'm currently working is getting more toxic than ever and they are expecting me to fill all the openings with the minimum wage. Many movies romanticize the sacrifice of one soldier and leave them as a hero, but I have always thought that I hate that. Why would someone need to lose his life to be a hero? I believe the mere fact that we put our life at risk in service is enough to be a hero

There is a certain air of respect you get when you become a military professional. As long as you earn that respect, of course. But I like it, it feels good!

In the heat of combat, there's no second to waste. I've never felt more focused in my life than when I'm holding a rifle, it is like the rest of the world disappears, and it's just me and the instinct to survive.

Does anyone else feel like they have become too utilitarian and objective?

Why aren't there any vegan options in the military besides a salad? I wish there was a way to improve this. I find myself having to settle on vegetarianism when serving.

I brought my guitar to Iraq, it wasn't easy, but I managed to convince my commander to let me take it. I will never forget those days when we played our favorite country songs with my buddies.

Take victories and defeats as equals! Nothing will teach young soldiers more than making mistakes in the heat of battle that almost cost you your life. If you're still breathing, there's something to learn. Listen to it.
