I'm rolling onto a new project and my manager from my old project just asked me if I could keep my client laptop (that I'm supposed to return tomorrow) to help someone who recently onboarded even though I'll be fully off the project starting tomorrow. I had originally agreed to help if the new team member contacted me through our company laptop although I explained my help would be limited not having access to any of our old documents.
