Oof this does not soujnd good. Why exactly is this happening? I mean I can argue that some part of AM is admin - unfortunately, and thinking you're above it isn't the greatest look...but it shouldn't be your whole job. Were you told this part of the role when you were interviewing?

I agree with you I think I’ve been humbled and seeing the responses I can see it’s part of the job. I think where I’m so busy it becomes an all too time consuming task I wish I could get some help with because it ends up becoming a priority and then changing last minute 😭
Also I'd argue that while yes, booking rooms isn't useful BUT being a valuable member of the team that takes on jobs (nothing too big or too small) IS appreciated in the long run. Just my two cents.

Hmm this is a good point I didn’t see this as something that added value but maybe if I tell myself this is a value adding opportunity I can give it the same oompf as the bigger tasks thank you
Where are your admin people to do that stuff? Well, if that's something you don't do quite often then maybe it's okay. As long as you are not forced to prioritized a task outside the scope of your duties.
