I'm so sick of “passion” as an excuse for abuse in this industry! I’ve had so many consecutive jobs where long hours, low pay, and zero boundaries are brushed off with, “But we’re making art!” At what point do you push back and say passion isn’t a paycheck?

This is because I have worked for citi as contractor or consultant in past but I don't remember my SP ID or GP ID which Citi provides to its temporary employees. HR is checking my SP ID or GP ID which was allocated to me in the past but I don't recall it is. HR is checking this with US team and this process is taking time. If they cannot extract it due to some reason, will they release my offer letter? Please clarify this.
