Hey Everyone! I’ve unfortunately just got laid off from my company. This is my second time in 5 months getting laid off due to budget cuts. Quite frankly, I’m drained and in need of leads. I’m a DEI TA sourcing specialist with experience sourcing Technical, Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations and Shared Services. The severance package at Meta for laid off employees almost makes it nice to be laid off depending on what your personal situation is….. personally wouldn’t mind getting 4+ months of full pay to reset and think about what’s next 😬

Hello Everyone, do our company, Amazon performs layoffs se well?

I am recently received an invite for a meeting with a partner and a HR person which means I am either going to be laidoff or put on a reduced schedule (60% time for 60% pay). I would rather being laidoff since I don’t want to still work 100% with 60% pay. How would I frame it if they put me on the reduced schedule? I don’t want to say “you have to fire me” since it might be counted as resignation and I won’t receive the severance package.

I recently cleared all rounds of interview for Mindtree and waiting for the offer letter. However, since Mindtree has been recently acquired by LTI, is there any layoff expected to happen in Mindtree?
Kindly pls give me an idea about how the situation is now in both companies.
