I'm looking for a job... Please help...
Hi all,
Do firms match offers from other Big 4s for campus hires? I’ve received a campus offer from both KPMG and EY. I’m more interested in the EY offer, but they are paying 3k less than KPMG.
Would it be a bad move to let them know about the other offer and try negotiating? I feel it wont make a difference in the long run, but at the same time I don’t want to leave any money on the table if possible.
Thanks!

I’ve been getting at least one interview a week. I’m in the Bay Area so not sure if it’s your location or your resume.
Run your resume through ChatGPT and/or Claude, have them rate the ATS-match score, get suggestions on how to push for a 90% match.
If you’ve already done that then have ChatGPT rate the “15 second skimming” rule. Recruiters and hiring managers only skim through resumes in 15 seconds. You want to make sure keywords and high-value bullet points are immediately visible just by skimming. Get suggestions on how to improve that as well.
Also, get suggestions on how to increase “call-back rate”. It may suggest steps outside of your resume.
Hope this helps.
You need to work with recruiters directly. Otherwise your resume might not even be read - it could be filtered out by AI if they have a lot of applications.
Thanks will try that 👍🏻
When I was looking, if I saw a job posted on LinkedIn I would then go to the website of the firm and apply there directly. Sometimes the posts on LinkedIn are there after the company has already received an abundance of applications and they’ve cut off submissions, etc. Always look at how many days a jobs has been posted on LinkedIn and proceed accordingly. These posts are not always fresh.

That’s a really great idea, I’ll have to try that out in my search going forward
