Hi All, Today I've resigned and my LOD is 2 Sept. Can anyone please let me know for these 90 days salary would be credited only after FnF. Or June'22 salary will be credited as usual, however, July and September salary would be credited during FnF. Please confirm or suggest.
Regards,

Don’t let my “name” fool you, I’m head of a large department for a bank. Here’s what I’d expect from you to want to bump that promotion figure—congrats, btw.
You should be having promo conversations with your manager already. Is this just a bump due to experience or will you have direct reports now? Your midline is about $80-83k so you’re really not going to get much than that from an internal move. If you will have direct reports add about $10k more.
Your discussion will be something like: “Thanks for recognizing my efforts. I’m excited to take on additional responsibilities with this promotion. Based on my X years of experience at [company] and the additional tasks, I’m not far from your number. I know what work is required to be successful in this role. That’s why I’m asking for [specific $ (50-65% of median)]. (Pause and wait)
If any resistance, simply state that you’ve reviewed pay bands for this role and you’re looking for alignment with your promotion figure while leaving room for growth over time.
Any update, what was the result?
Now's the time to remind your boss of what you bring to the table. Have you impressed him lately? Saved the team? Put in extra hours? Spearheaded team projects and have lent a helping hand outside your immediate realm of responsibilities? You should have a laundry list of accomplishments showing your worth to your company.

I feel I’m in an environment where they want us to always do more and more. I’ve done a lot on the back end to keep our team going, but since it’s not where they’re focused on, I’m not sure they think I’m doing an amazing job. They want me to focus on automating processes, but they’ve put me on 3 other projects to do testing. I need a new perspective I think. Thanks for listening to my vent.
It's a good plan, I always say "go for it" because the "no" you already have by not trying at ALL. So, yes, apply and also be confident about it. You don't need to have 100% match to get the job. Good luck!

Thank you! That helps me more than you know.
I can help you with Salary-range negotiation letter 😊
It doesn't hurt to go ahead and apply. You can also talk to the hiring manager about what the salary might be. I definitely think you ask for 100k and then neogitate.

I would always negotiate towards the higher end and then go down from there.
