I’m very interested in applying to business schools with a strong social impact / social innovation focus. So far thinking of applying to Stanford, Haas and Yale. Only want to apply to 4 schools max this cycle - anyone have strong thoughts on what school should be the 4th?

Has anyone gone through multiple interviews and not even been given a “thanks for applying but we went another way” or a reply to a follow up email after 3 weeks? I get it means I didn’t get it, but just seems weird to be completely blacked out unless they will don’t have any update for me? Lol

Has anyone worked or currently employed with ChenMed? I feel like there’s a high turnover rate but the pay is very competitive. I have an interview for a remote position tomorrow and just want to make sure it is legit.

Is it common to negotiate software engineer salary at smaller companies? I know it’s common at FAANG, but what about for companies with around 200 engineers? I have a counter offer from my current company and on-site interviews scheduled for end of July with google and Amazon, but I’d prefer to go with the smaller local company if I can negotiate the salary (from offer letter) up another 5% or so.

The number of the alumni and current students that go to top consulting firms FT& summer intern are countless even for a small class size.
Stern is way more than a finance school. Given its location, do you want to spend your 2 years in a rural area or heart of Manhattan? Location is almost everything for business school. (I have a friend in Cornell that frequently travels about 5 hours to NYC for events.)

Any Asian guys got significant scholarship to t20 schools using the gre, if so what score did you have, I got a 330, worth retaking for a better score if I’m aiming for scholarships?

I’ve been doing ID for about 2 years now. Mostly slip and fall and WC work. Long-term, I want to move out of ID. I’m currently interviewing at a firm that does ID, but mostly does insurance coverage opinions. They also do some more complex ID, such as L&E.

With the ultimate goal of moving completely out of ID, would this be seen as a step up? I appreciate any and all feedback. TIA

I'm a little at a loss of what to add to my resume. As most of you know in consulting we don't get a bunch of new responsibilities the second we get promoted to the next level (at least before getting promoted to M).

I'm thinking I will add a section for Senior Consultant and add what my responsibilities reasonably would be in 3-6 months (cont)
