Anyone have any idea when the hiring freeze might end within AWS ProServ? I’m currently at Amazon and have a TS clearance, PMP & CSM. I come from a Big4 consulting firm with a background in Enterprise Performance. I’ll be honest and say I’m not feeling very safe in my current role with the ongoing layoffs. For those who moved from a client serving role to an internal role in public accounting while at a fairly high level (experienced manager or senior manager), did you take a pay cut or does your pay stay flat when you transition with minimal increases in subsequent years? (Also I have no college degree) will sales managers care more about the performance record? Or more about the lack of big deal experience?

Enrolled in Stern for a few weeks.
The number of the alumni and current students that go to top consulting firms FT& summer intern are countless even for a small class size.
Stern is way more than a finance school. Given its location, do you want to spend your 2 years in a rural area or heart of Manhattan? Location is almost everything for business school. (I have a friend in Cornell that frequently travels about 5 hours to NYC for events.)

Hi all. I'm looking for t15 mba programs that are "fun" and really enable their students to get to know each other well. I'm making an assumption that schools close to a big city (e.g. NYC, LA, Chi) are more likely to fit this criteria and therefore considering applying to only Booth, Kellogg, Stern, CBS, Anderson.

Are there other schools that come to mind that I should be seriously considering as well? Tough to find online research on this topic. (Note: not considering h/s/w cuz competition)
