Is it a product based company or a service based company?
How wlb will be in Capita plc?
I have been offered 6A band as senior software engineer, so is 22LPA fair compensation?

This is absolutely wrong information.. Rating depends on your performance.. I know people in my team who joined in nov dec and got differentiating rating.. ofcourse the bonus will be prorated
This is not absolutely wrong. The one calling it absolutely wrong is absolutely wrong in this case. Yes, most of them, almost in 95% of cases this is true, how well you perform will not matter, they will give you a default rating. I have experienced it and witnessed it
I joined in Oct and received SI rating as well as a promotion. I know there were a few who were given less rating than what they probably deserved simply because they joined late, but not everything is dark and gloomy. There is light somewhere.

True, people in the light are already celebrating which includes me. This note I have written for the ones who can be pulled into the dark. Congratulations on your feat. You must have done extraordinary stuff to defy the custom.
Not sure about the majority of the cases. I joined on Sep 2022 as Senior 1 and I got differentiating rating along with a progression to Senior 2
Bonus was 27% and is ofcourse pro rated

Please have a discussion with your counsellor to understand the expectation and get the right guidance to achieve your goals. This is true for most places you or others nights have worked before, but not true for EY. My piece of advice is, discuss with your counselor beforehand. Whether you will be eligible for top ratings considering you couldn’t join the beginning of the cycle.
Not really sure if this is defined as per company policy, but during the year end appraisal counsellor’s simply deny top ratings with this sole reason no matter how exceptional you were.
Great advice. One of my friend who joined around june last year has a great rapport within the project, excelled all the kpis but when came to lead category discussion, was handed progression rating with the reason that he recently joined the organisation, so not getting high ratings.

Not necessarily I have seen people progressing with less than a year's experience.
Completely depends on your performance and overall visibility in the team.

Happened for me and to most. I can see multiple cases highlighted in this bowl. Hence advising the new joiners to have a discussion with their counsellors on the expectations and possible outcome of their hard efforts.
