Hello fishes, I received offer letter from Mindtree and uploaded the documents on their onboarding portal. But now I have a better offer in hand and hence will not be joining Mindtree. I’m a private immigration attorney whose interested into transitioning into a high level federal government attorney position in the future (not in this administration). Ideally, I’d love to work in the solicitor general’s office.

I’m only a year or two into practice and am wondering if there are any tips to best position myself for this type of position? I don’t anticipate making any moves that way for at least 5 more years. No clerking experience or law review, so that’s -2 points for me

Anyone struggling with imposter syndrome? When I worked for a very well known Fortune500 tech company I couldn't help but feel major imposter syndrome. One- I am a woman in a male dominated industry, I didn't go to a prestigious school like most of my peers and I just didn't think I deserved to be there. Everyday was a struggle and tried to keep myself small so no one would find out I was a "fraud." Looking back on it now, wiser and more experienced, I realized how detrimental feeling that way
